In January of 1991, the family welcomed Dayne, the fourth generation. Just like his dad, and his grandpas, Dayne took to building things as soon as he could walk. Swinging a hammer in a diaper was a common sight.

Over the next few years, the three generations would continue to build and remodel some properties together but began to work in separate directions for various reasons.


Fast forward to the summer of 1991. By this time, Great Grandpa Guy had passed, Grandpa Russ was focused on managing his own properties and got involved in local politics, and David had started his own construction company. Hawaii's economy made it tough for David to "get ahead" never mind supporting his family. That's when the decision was made to move on. David moved his family to Massachusetts for new opportunities.

A short time after which, Grandpa Russ and the rest of the family also left Hawaii behind and moved to Forsyth Missouri. Grandpa Russ purchased land and rental properties in Missouri and David built a very successful career for himself in New England over the next 20 years.


Our family business started in Hawaii 4 generations ago with Great Grandpa Guy and Grandpa Russ. This was the 60's, things were groovy. Building among the coconut trees and white sand beaches, it was paradise!

In November of '71, The family welcomed David, the third generation. David grew up working with his dad and grandpa. He learned at an early age what it meant to be a responsible, hard-working professional. He learned that being a jack of all trades was valuable, but being a master builder was invaluable.


RDCH delivers. Our goal is to provide our customers with exceptional quality. We do not build products that last a decade or two, but rather a generation or two. We also strive to provide customer service that will exceed your expectations. We work closely with every client from homeowners to realtors, designers, and architects. Our transparent and professional practices have resulted in long-term relationships with our customers and partners, many of whom we build second and third homes for, and who refer us to their friends and family.

The Budget is Real
Once we clarify the scope of a project, we can develop a detailed good-faith cost estimate and construction time frame. We provide clients with an overall budget for their projects, as well as additional options and solutions for upgrades and details they may want, as the project progresses. This means clients know exactly what their expenditures are at all times.

Transparent Billing
RDCH always provides transparent billing. Each month, our clients receive an application for payment accompanied by a detailed report backing up and indicating all expenditures. This report also indicates project progress.

The Five Year Warranty
We believe in building homes that can stand the test of time, the elements, and an active family. We’re so certain that our homes are built to endure, that we offer a Five Year Warranty. Most builders offer a one-year warranty on their work, but we guarantee that we’ll replace anything, for a full five years. It’s part of our mission to do it right from the start, but if we don’t, we’ll do it again, at no charge. How many builders in Missouri offer that kind of confidence? As it turns out, just one. Us.
